The University of Manitoba is committed to ensuring the quality of its academic programs, teaching, and student learning. An essential component of our commitment to students and teaching excellence is the ongoing evaluation of courses by students.

The new University of Manitoba Student Rating of Instruction reflects current institutional teaching practices and priorities by recognizing the diversity of teaching approaches and strengths across the institution. In addition to providing summative feedback to departmental, faculty, and institutional level administrators on identified teaching priorities, the new course evaluations provide instructors with an opportunity to collect additional feedback for their own professional development.
