Role

Brianne works with the Graduate Teaching Program (GTP), mentors faculty in the Teaching and Learning Certificate (TLC) program, and collaborates on a variety of other projects at The Centre.


Biography

Before starting at The Centre, Brianne served as an assistant professor of psychology at Providence University College. Prior to moving to Manitoba in 2017, she was a lecturer in the Behavioural Science program at Ambrose University in Calgary, Alberta. Since 2012, Brianne has taught more than 40 courses at the undergraduate level at small liberal arts universities and larger, public universities.

Brianne received her PhD in psychology from the University of Calgary where she specialized in the history and theory of psychology. Her doctoral research focused on the history of psychosurgery in Canada.
